Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church for Mrs. John Leukel, 71, who died Wednesday at her home in Oakland, Calif. The Rev. Walter J. Dillenburg will officiate and burial will be made in Gate of Heaven cemetery.
The body will repose at the Rembs Funeral Home beginning Tuesday noon. The general and Rosary-Altar Society rosary service will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The former Anna Cassin was born in February of 1890 in Adell and was married there on June 1, 1910 to John Leukel. In 1911 they came to the town of Lincoln. Her husband was associated with the Holstein Breeders Association.
She is survived by a foster daughter, Kathryn Illinski, Portland, Ore.; two foster sons, Nikolas Illinski, Sacramento, Calif., and Joseph Illinski, DeForest, and two grandchildren.
