Chase Billeter Pratt, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died peacefully at home, from heart complications on July 1, 1996 with his family at his bedside.

He was born August 24, 1913 in Salt Lake City, a son of William Parker and Catherine Billeter Pratt. He married Mary Jarman on June 26, 1940 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He spent approximately 40 years in the office machine business working for the Underwood Company, Russ Brown's Office Machines, and then owned and operated his own business, Chase Sales and Service Company, until his retirement.

Chase was an active member of the LDS Church and loved doing the Lord's work here on earth. He served in many positions, including Sunday School superintendent, ward clerk, bishop's counselor and in the High Priest's group leadership. He played, and later coached, church basketball and softball. Sports were always a part of his life, especially baseball, golf and fishing.
