Julius Billeter Pratt was born the second child of William Parker "Park" Pratt and Katharina (changed spelling once she arrived in the USA to Catherine) or Catherine "Katie" Billeter. (Utah Birth Registers, 1892-1944).

He married Elizabeth Broderick Hopkins on 18 Sep 1937 in Rockville, Montgomery, Maryland. Elizabeth was born 16 Aug 1912 in Baltimore, Maryland.

They had two children:
William Lee, b. 1 Sep 1939, Washington, DC
Geraldine, b. 16 Mar 1941, Washington, DC (She died the day after she was born).

Julius B. Pratt, age 72, of Salt Lake City, Utah died January 25, 1977 in a local hospital of a heart attack. Born December 14, 1903, Salt Lake City, to William Parker and Catherine Billeter Pratt. Married Elisabeth Hopkins, September 18, 1937 in Washington, D.C. Marriage later solemnized in the Sale Lake LDS Temple. Retired from Utah Sand and Gravel. *** Funeral services Friday 12 noon, Winder Stake Center, 44th South 15th East, [SLC, UT]. *** Burial in Chestertown Cemetery, Chestertown, Maryland."

His wife Elizabeth is buried next to him in the same cemetery.
