MRS. JORDAN'S FUNERAL HERE
Former Resident of Fairfield Died Saturday in Colorado Springs
Word has been received announcing the death of Mrs. Harriett (sic. Harriet on headstone inscription) JORDAN at her home 218 East Jefferson Street, Colorado Springs, Saturday.
Interment will take place at the Fairfield Evergreen cemetery tomorrow afternoon immediately upon the arrival of Burlington train No. 6. Short services will be held at the cemetery.
Mrs. JORDAN is survived by four children: her daughter Harriet of Colorado Springs, and three sons, Hal JORDAN of California, Charles W. JORDAN of Ottumwa, and Albert H. JORDAN of Colorado Springs.
Mrs. JORDAN was about 84 years old. She and her husband lived in Fairfield until about thirty years ago, when upon the death of her husband, Albert R. JORDAN, she moved with her children to Colorado Springs.
For years Mrs. JORDAN was the organist in the Congregational church here and will be well remembered for her faithfulness in that capacity.
