Hayward - Mrs Adelida Cruz, disabled from a stroke, died Friday at a convalescent home at 86. In addition to three sons, she leave 31 grandchildren, 102 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. The sons are Frank and John Pangelina of Oakland and Atilano of Merced.

Born in San Francisco, she lived alternately in Oakland and Merced and outlived two husbands, Joseph Pangelina and Frank Cruz, both miners.

Funeral services arranged by Caporgno Mortuary will be held in Merced on Tuesday. She will be buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery [error], next to her son, Joseph, who died in World War II.
