Mrs. Gladys Heim, 69, 3225 Irvingham, died Saturday in a Topeka hospital where she was admitted Thursday and underwent abdominal surgery Friday.

She was born Aug. 17, 1900 at Willow Springs, Mo, and lived in Topeka several years. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Michael George Heim, at home; four sons, Michael Heim, Topeka, Bernard Heim, Osage City, and John Heim, 432 Pincrest; six Daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Harris, Topeka, Mrs. Joan Legge, Waterbury, Conn., Mrs. Lavonne Wallom, Cicero, Ill., Mrs. Mildred Golder, Route 5, Mrs. Lorraine Bleek, Topeka, and Mrs. Mary Struttman, Fort Lupton, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. Lois Howard, Kansas City, Kan.; 24 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Services will b 10 a.m. Monday at Assumption Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Heim will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Brennan Funeral Home where parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
