WILL PORTER
(1893-1954)

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. for Will Porter, 61, of Lucasville, who died shortly before noon Friday at his home. He had been ill the last three months.

Rev. John Morgan will officiate at services at Lucasville Evangelical United Brethren Church. Burial will be at Lawton, Ky. Funeral arrangements are in charge of McKinley Funeral Home. The body is at the residence.

Mr. Porter lived in Lucasville community the last 22 years. He was a veteran of World War I.

He was born July 12, 1893, at Lawton, a son of Edward and Lula Mitchell Porter. He was married in September 1923 at Catlettsburg to Julia Pence Roe, who survives.

Also surviving are four brothers, Roy, George, and Earl, all of Lawton, and Noyce of Youngstown; and three sisters, Mrs. Grace Barker of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Viola Bego of Mansfield, and Betty Bosker of Youngstown.

The parents, three sisters, and three brothers preceded in death.
