The Crosby family came to The Territories in 1899, where Lottie's father, William Wisner Crosby, applied for homestead entry on SW14-41-25W4, east of Lacombe, Alberta, on Feb. 6, 1900. Lottie Crosby was married to Tom Jones by 1911, and they were living near Lacombe in 1916 with their 3 year old son, Logan.
