We were both blessed with several parents, grandparents and great-aunts who lived to near 90 and beyond. While we are new to Find A Grave, we are not new to genealogy and have been actively researching our own families for over 50 years. I was the little kid who would corner the grandmothers to ask, "Where did we come from?" even in grade school. Luckily the older generation had good memories and lots of old pictures. We joined Find A Grave to share those pictures with extended family. We have no plans to do memorials of anyone other than our own families. We are more than glad to transfer memorials to other family members. We appreciate the hard work we see that others have done on this site.
