Anne affectionately known as Nan, passed away peacefully surrounded by her entire family. Nan is the fifth of six daughters to the late Alexander and Catherine Macgregor. Following her marriage in 1954, Nan and her husband sailed to America to begin their new life in San Francisco. Nan will be dearly missed by Benny, her loving and devoted husband of fifty-eight years; her cherished sons Frank (Barbara), Michael (Sandy), and Stephen (Tricia); and adoring grand-children Amanda, Alexander, and Clark.

Nan was predeceased by four of her five sisters, Mary, Catherine, Margaret, and Winnie. She is survived by her loving sister Patricia Robertson of Glasgow, Scotland, brothers-in-law Les Chapman of Leeds, England, Reverend Francis Jordan of Dodge City Diocese, Kansas, and sisters-in-law Cathie Jordan of Glasgow, Scotland, Sally Jordan of San Francisco and Mary Jordan of San Leandro, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews in Scotland, England, and the Bay Area.

Nan was a very active, fifty-year member of St. Gabriel parish, serving as a volunteer to a generation of grammar school children. She enjoyed her daily walks and bike rides along Ocean Beach and weekly hikes on and around Mt. Tamalpais. Summer vacations at Lake Tahoe with family and friends were a highlight everyone cherished. Nan's warm smile and personality lit every room she entered. She loved entertaining and celebrating her families many milestones.
