Mrs. Mary Steria Yousey 86, widow of John Yousey of Belfort died on Friday at 5:50 a. m. at the home of her daughter Mrs. James Flemming on Jerden Falls road. Following a lingering illness with a heart ailment. She was born in town of Croghan February 26, 1854 a daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Mosher Steria. She resided practically all her life in the vicinity of Belfort, where she with her family located on a farm, and since in June has resided with her daughter where she died. Mr. Yousey died September 2, 1933. She married John Yousey November 11, 1875, by Rev. Jacob Roggie. She is survived by five sons and five daughters: John and Peter Yousey of Long Pond, Chris Yousey Croghan, Sam of Belfort, Noah Yousey, Lowville, Mrs. Douglas Purcell of Stillwater, Mrs. Joseph Lyndaker and Mrs. James Flemming, Belfort, Mrs. Walter Lambert, Belfort, Mrs. Michael Lyndaker, Balsam Creek a half brother John Steria, Canada, 24 grand children and several great grandchildren. The funeral was held on Sunday at 12:30 at the Flemming home with prayer service and at 2 p. m. (E. S. T.) at the Amlsh Mennonite church near Croghan.
