FLINTSTONE, GA - Judy Cobble Stephens, 68, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 28, 2011.
She was born July 27, 1943, was the daughter of Jacob A. and Jennie Jenkins Cobble and was raised in the High Point Community.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rossville and retired from American National/Suntrust Bank after 20 years of service. She was also a member of the American Business Women's Association.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy David Cobble.
Survivors include her husband of 17 years, David Stephens; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Robert Burrell, of Flintstone; Sister-in-law, Elizabeth Cobble of Chattanooga; nieces and nephews of whom she adored, Barry Burrell, Kristi McCormick, Keri Cobble, Dale Burrell, Jason Cobble; aunt, Vieva Hixson of Bakewell, TN; step children, Wesley A. Stephens, of Macon, Ga., R.Wayne Stephens, of Jacksonville, Fla. and Michael W. Stephens, of Chickamauga, Ga., and Kathy S. Jordan, of Chickamauga, Ga.; many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Paul Williams and Rev. Pat Davis officiating.
Burial will follow at Lookout Cemetery in the High Point Community.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for their love and care during this time.
