David L. Wood, 76, retired farmer of this district, died yesterday at Veronica, Oregon. The body is being brought to Colfax for service and burial Wednesday afternoon.
Born in Benton Co., Oregon, Mr. Wood was a Colfax District resident 71 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include two sons, Homer and Frank, Colfax; a daughter, Mrs. Theodore Ackerman, Dusty; two brothers, Jess, Colfax, and Clyde Troy, Idaho; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Torrence, Spokane, and Mrs. Elizabeth Medi, Lewiston, Idaho.
