Colfax, Wash., Dec. 16. -- (Special.) -- Mrs. Laura Wood, 62, wife of D.L. Wood, died at her home near this city Friday, after a two years, illness. She was born in Limestone county, Texas, and came to Whitman county, Washington, from Colorado, 40 years ago.
She first lived at Tekoa before coming to Colfax many years ago. Surviving are her husband, two sons, Homer W. and Frank L. Wood; one daughter, Florence Ackerman, and two grandchildren.
