Thomas is buried in the Dominion Cemetery in Pas de Calais, France and was killed in action while serving with Company C, 114th Infantry Regiment, 29th Infantry Division. Thomas is listed as about 31 in the casualties list and was killed when combining troops with the 29th Canadian Battalion at the Meuse-Argonne offensive. Thomas enlisted on August 17, 1917 in Pawnee, Bourbon, Kansas, and was sent to France in June, 1918 after training conceded at Camp McClellan, Alabama.

Historical Archivist of the National WWI Archivist Memorial Project.

I believe he died during WWI as I can not find him after the 1910 census. According to his WWI draft record, he had grey-blue eyes and brown hair. He was short with a medium build.
He was married to Juanita Wilkerson.
