Died about 1896. I would really like to find this grave. He moved from New York between 1870 and 1880.

"Great-Grandpa Cole was a Baptist minister at Clinton, Missouri. He use to hold tent meetings during the week, and on Sunday he had his own church building to hold meetings. He would stand up on a box-like platform in front of an open window and give his message. Art, my brother, said that sometimes Great-Grandpa would get to preaching and shouting, waving the old family Bible, and jumping up and down on that little platform. During these times, Art would hold his breath for fear that Great-Grandpa would fall backwards off the platform and out of the window. Your Aunt Verl was given the family Bible when my mother died. It was a real old one passed down for generations. One of my favorite pastimes when I was a little girl was to read the entries in the old family Bible on Sunday afternoons." (Statement by Anna Eliza Cole Vestal)
