Actor and Director. Miguel Ilizaliturri García, known as Miguel Córcega, was a Mexican telenovela actor and director. Córcega started his career in acting and directing during the 1940s. He began as an actor in 1949 film "La dama del velo" and later "El dolor de pagar la renta" and "Dos pintores pintorescos" with Viruta and Capulina. Córcega directed Mexican telenovelas as "Lazos de Amor" y "El privilegio de amar" and his acting television credits included the telenovelas "Cadenas de amargura" and "Cuidado con el ángel". He died of a stroke in Mexico City.
