O. H. Joy, for many years a resident of Lewis county, died at Oroville, Calif., Tuesday, May 11[incorrect], aged 50 years. Mr. Joy was a brother of Geo C. Joy of Chehalis, state supervisor of forestry. After leaving Lewis county some years ago he lived in Vancouver, B. C. and at Bellingham. A daughter, Miss Aryness Joy, who lives at Amherst, Mass; three brothers, Geo C. Joy of Chehalis, William of Challenge, Calif., and Benjamin of Portland survive the deceased. Mary Jane Joy, mother of O. H. Joy, died at Chehalis April 18, being one of Lewis county's oldest pioneers. The body will be brought to Chehalis for burial and will be taken in charge by E. C. Fissel, who will have the funeral in charge.
