AUBURN - Mrs Greta Snyder Loomis, 66, of 51 Franklin St., died Saturday at Auburn Memorial Hospital. A native of Oswego county she had resided since 1944. Mrs Loomis was the. daughter of Clarence and Ida Snyder. She had graduated from Oswego Normal school. She taught school in Minetto and did substitute teaching in Auburn.
Mrs Loomis was a member of First Baptist church o Auburn and was on the board of deaconessed, missions, and Christian education, as well as on the official board. She taught Sunday school and taught the Neighborhood House. She was a member of the WCTU and the Womens League.
Surviving are her husband, Kenneth M Loomis, three daughters, Mrs Richard Hudson of Union Springs, Mrs R Corbin Asinkson of Lake Jackson, TX, and Mrs D Dale Greer of Alma, MI and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 am Tuesday at the Mosher Funeral Home, 98 E Genessee St. Committal services and burial will be at 2 pm Tuesday in Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours are 7 to 9pm tonight at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the memorial fund of First Baptist church.
