Violet D. Vanata
Violet D. VANATA, 68, Rt. 5, Rochester (Tiosa), died at 10:10 p.m. Friday at Plymouth Parkview Hospital following a 3-month illness.
Mrs. Vanata was born July 10, 1911 in Rochester to Surphus and Cora BRUCE MILLISER. She was married Aug. 9, 1929 at Rochester to Loftlee B. VANATA, who survives. She was a former employee of Harvey's Restaurant, Argos, and had lived in Tiosa four years, moving from Rt. 3, Argos.
Surviving with the husband are three daughters, Mrs. Loren (Bonnie) VOREIS, Culver; Mrs. Roger (Shirley) THAYER, Rt. 1, Argos; and Mrs. Pat (Joyce) THOMAS, Etna Green; her mother, Mrs. Cora MILLISER, Rochester; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Hurshel and Dale [MILLISER], both of Rochester.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, with the Rev. John C. SHULTZ officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday and until the hour of service Monday.
