Dale A. "Steve" Milliser
Aug. 15, 1921 – Feb. 16, 2003
Dale A. "Steve" MILLISER, 81, 2354 Westside Dr., died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday at Life Care Center, Rochester.
Born in Fulton County to Surph and Cora BRUCE MILLISER, he married Madge CARR on Jan. 31, 1947, at St. John Lutheran Church, Rochester. She survives.
Mr. Milliser worked for Nickel Plate Railroad and was a carpenter. He was a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran of World War II, having served in the South Pacific Theater as a gunner aboard a B-24. He was a member of Odd Fellows Lodge, Eagles Lodge, Manitou Moose Lodge and American Legion, all of Rochester.
Surviving with his wife, at home, are one son, John [MILLISER] and wife Linda, Rochester; two granddaughters, Amy MILLER and husband Gavin, Goshen, and Andrea MILLISER, Rochester.
Preceding in death were his parents, one brother and two sisters.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, with Rev. Joseph JACOB officiating. Burial will be at Rochester IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, both Rochester posts. Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Mental Health Association.
