Daniel C. Buttry, 55, husband of Connie Kelly Buttry, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at the Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center.

Born June 6, 1956 to the late William Luther Buttry and Joyce Buttry Cole he was a Lab Technician with Central Kentucky Processing and he was of the Baptist faith. Daniel also served in the United States Army and was a Elvis Presley impersonator and a apprentice Auctioneer under Doug Miller. He loved going to the Y.M.C.A. in Richmond.

Other than his wife Connie Kelly Buttry he is survived by three brothers, Bill Buttry, Kenneth Buttry and Mark Buttry (Nettie); four sisters, Priscilla Hall Lunsford (Larry), Linda Murphy (Mike), Doris Lunsford and Margaret Botkin; also survived by several nieces nephews and friends. He is proceeded in death by his parents William Luther Buttry & Joyce Buttry Cole; three brothers, David, Dennis and Tommy Buttry; one sister, Barbara Powell; niece, Sandra Powell; two nephews, Rabon Jeffery Buttry and Billy Buttry; two sister-in-laws, Sherri and Pat Buttry, and step father Junior Cole.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pilot Knob Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Kelly, Darral Cain, Eric Carpenter, James McCall, Dustin Hall and Will Rodgers. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Kelly, Bubba Botkin, Scotty Pennington, Stewart Cain, Michael Rodgers and Butch Mosser.
