Gloria Serna, born March 28, 1959 in San Antonio, Texas to parents Rafael Villegas Chavez and Hijinia Rodriguez, entered into eternal rest May 8, 2023 at the age of 64. Gloria was preceded in death by her father, Rafael Villegas Chavez; mother, Hijinia Rodriguez Cerna; and spouse, Raul Tristan Serna. She is survived by daughters, Stephanie Serna Ervin, Sigourney Serna Gamez (Gabriel); brothers, Jesus Manuel Villegas Rodriguez, Rafael Villegas Rodriguez, Carlos Serna; sisters, Trinidad R. Villegas, Elizabeth Cerna Zuniga; nieces, Denise R. Rivas, Mia Rivas, Victoria Torralva; newphews, John Jeffrey Rivas, Christopher Torralva and other nieces and nephews.Gloria was one of the sweetest persons. She loved unconditionally and always gave her all into everything. Gloria was a hard worker and dedicated most of her time to her kids and family. She was the happiest at family gatherings where she was surrounded by her favorite people. Gloria was an amazing mom, sister, aunt and friend. Her smile was contagious and she knew how to make you laugh. Gloria will be dearly missed by all her loving family and friends. The family invites you to come celebrate Gloria's wonderful life. Funeral services are as follows:

Tuesday - May 23, 2023: Visitation 8am-1:00pm at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, 2702 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237 with a rosary being recited at 11a.m. We will be departing at 1:15 to Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery for a 2:00pm afternoon graveside service.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE ESCORTED BY POLICE IN VEHICLE PROCESSION.
