WILLIAMS, RUTH L., age 97, passed away Sunday, January 17, 1999, at Life Care Nursing Center. She was a native of Cedar Bluff, Mississippi and a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Williams and grandson, Darryl Williams. Survivors include her son, Ervin Williams of Talbott; daughter, Rebecca Boyd of Brandon, MS.; and stepson, Osborne Williams of West Point, MS.; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; Funeral services will be Thursday, January 21. 1999, 2:00 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home, West Point, MS. Interment will be in the Cedar Bluff Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home, West Point, MS. Memorial donations may be sent to Kingswood School, Grainger County, TN., or Christ United Methodist Church, West Point, MS. Westside Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
