Actor, director, writer, argumentative. Born Joaquín Busquets Padrosa, he was a Mexican actor and director in theatre, radio and film. He was father to actor, director, producer and singer Narciso Busquets. In 1935, Joaquín Busquets lost his sight as part of the aftermath of an old illness that never completely healed. His wife Enriqueta separates from him, leaving him alone with a child Narciso. Since then, father and son would become inseparable companions in the artistic world. Joaquín was able to reestablish his career despite being blind, working as a radio actor and, at the same time, doing the first voice acting of Mexican films in the form of repositioning dialogues, all alongside Narciso, who faithfully helped him, affectionately reciting in his ear the dialogues of his characters. In 1942, Joaquín Busquets died suddenly after complications from his poor health, leaving alone to his then-teenage son Narciso.
