Paul was born near Hazel, MT on his father's homestead north of Sheep Mountain on June 24, 1919. He was baptized May 6, 1920. He received his schooling at Gackle School and later attended a NYA trade school near Laurel, MT where he met Carrie Smidt. Paul and Carrie were married on February 20, 1942.
At 10 years of age, Paul took his first job for 50 cents a day tending sheep. Paul was handy with all livestock.
Paul and Carrie have ranched all their lives near Brockway, MT. Paul also carried the mail for 56 years. The Brockway Post Office was dedicated to him in 2006.
Paul enjoyed his many brothers and sisters and their families (56 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews). He enjoyed music, dancing, cards and many friends.
Paul is survived by his wife Carrie; his sisters Alice Morast, Evelyn Hoover, Agnes Sukut, Edie Pawlowski and Esther Sukut and his brother David, and many nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Frank C.R. and Katherine (Hatzenbuehler); his brothers, Albert, Frank Jr., and Harold; and his sisters Lena, Pearl Macioroski, Margaret Morast and Nora Carter.
Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery in Circle.
