Actor, Voice Actor, Singer, and Performer. Rafael Armel Marcelo Luis Etienne Mazoyer, better known as Rafael del Río, was a Mexican film, television and theater actor and performer, who began his career at a very young age and became one of the 1960s and 1970s acting teen idols for his garnishee. His parents were Marcelo Etienne Baruel and María Rosa Mazoyer Cherón, who contributed to his debut at the age of two in the film "Corazón de Niño" (1939) by Julio Bracho. He worked in children's theater alongside Enrique Alonso and Alicia Montoya; and he also had several participations in the theater companies of Fernando Soler, Manolo Fábregas, Enrique Rambal and Marilú Elizaga. In the 1960s, he made his television debut, in addition to venturing into voice acting. As a voice actor, he is remembered for voicing Michael Douglas in "The Streets of San Francisco", voicing Hollywood stars Louis Jourdan and Montgomery Clift in films like "Gigi" and "The Misfits", and voicing cartoon characters like "Pepe Le Pew", "Hong Kong Phooey" and Brian Bedford's "Robin Hood" in the 1973 Disney film of the same name.
