Stephen E. McPartlin, Jr., 87 of Wildwood, IL passed away Saturday, October 14, 1995 at his home. He was born in Chicago, IL on April 18, 1908 and has resided in Wildwood for over 25 years. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Army and had attended University of Notre Dame and was a graduate of the University of Chicago. He was also a membe rof the St. Gilbert Catholic Church in Grayslake, IL. He owned and operated McPartlin Sales Co. of Grayslake He was a member in Central States Hardware Club, Notre Dame Club of Chicago, University of Chicago Alumni Association and the Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. He leaves his daughter Jackie (Edward) Streit of Aurora, IL and his son Stephen (Lois) McPartlin III of Glen Ellyn, IL. A step-daughter Ann (William) Boden of Friendship, WI., 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Margo McPartlin on August 30, 1985. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 17, 1995 at 11 A.M. at the St. Gilbert Catholic Church in Grayslake, IL with the Rev. Robert Beaven, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Lake Forest, IL. Friends of the family visited on Monday, October 16, 1995 from 6-9 PM at the Strang Funeral Chapel, LTD, 410 Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, IL.
