Actor, voice director, voice actor and singer. Víctor Santiago Gil Sánchez was a Mexican voice, theater, dubbing and radio actor, known for voicing characters such as "Spook" from "Top Cat" and "Robin/Dick Grayson" from "Batman".
He began dubbing at age 16 in 1948, along with actors such as Isidro Olace and Nicky Tavares at the Churubusco studios, where they dubbed European films, directed by the famous actor and director Carlos David Ortigosa. Later, in the 1950s, he was hired as an actor to work on radionovelas for radio XEW that were broadcast live.
In his adolescence, he joined the Bellas Artes theater company in 1951, and began working at the XEW in that same year and until 1960. He was also one of the pioneers of Mexican television, working on the TV channels XEW, XHTV DF and XHGC from 1951 to 1959.
In the sixties his work as a dubbing actor was consolidated, appearing in numerous productions made at the CINSA company, playing all kinds of characters, and later becoming a dubbing director, as well as a translator and adapter, for films, television series, animated series and films, among other works.
