Cartoonist. He was a Chilean cartoonist of British descent, known for creating the womanizer cartoon character "Pepe Antártico" in the 1940s. From a very young age, he stood out for his cartoons and drawings, being a student and later a teacher at the Instituto Nacional. As a young man, he worked for the newspaper "La Última Hora de Santiago," where his character "Pepe Antártico" debuted on April 29, 1947. He was recognized with the National Periodism Award of Chile in 1969 for his work. He died on July 11, 2013, at the age of 90, as a result of a cardiopulmonary arrest.
