Born in the Panama Canal, the son of an Italian-Spanish father and an Ecuadorian mother, he lived in Chile, Colombia and Ecuador before settling in Mexico, where he studied at Mexico City College. Some years later he lived in Los Angeles, California, where he served in the US Army and was sent to combat in the Korean War. In 1955 he would become an associate of Mr. Candiani with whom he would found the SISSA company in 1958. From 1955 to 2007 he would live in Mexico City, until in 2007 he emigrated to Texas, where he would die of natural causes on April 3, 2017. In addition to his work at the SISSA company, he was also an advisor at the Prime Dubb company with his son Eduardo Giaccardi.
