Ruth Lennick was born January 22, 1938, in Zap ND., daughter of John and Pauline (Imhoff) Lennick. Ruth married Roland Paul Newmann, in Hebron, November 20, 1955. She began working at Super Value in Glen Ullin, and later she and Roland farmed for fifteen years. They owned and managed an equipment rental business across several Western states; Ruth was also a partner in a Bible book store in Bismarck. They moved to Steptoe WA, about eleven years ago. Ruth began working as a checker for Excell Foods and was employed by Rosauer's Grocery store, where she was a well known checker at the time of her death.
Ruth enjoyed cooking, especially german dishes, but her favorite passion was Gospel music of all kinds.
She is survived by her husband, Roland; son Randy; grand-son, Kyle; three sisters, Marge Kroh, Esther (Alvin) Vietz, and Ruby (Richard) Funk; two brothers, Armin (Joan) Lennick and Milton (Elaine) Lennick.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Rodney Paul Neumann.
