On Thursday morning Mrs. Fannie Herr, relict of the late Henry Herr, in the 81st year of her age. Funeral from her late residence, corner Fourth and North streets, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Relatives and friends are invited
to attend without further notice.

Mrs Fannie Herr, relict of the late Henry Herr, an old and respectable citizen of Susquehanna township, now part of the city, and well known to the older residents of this county, departed this life Tuesday morning in the 81st year of her age. Mrs Herr was the daughter of the late Rev John Shopp, and was born in 1802, near Shiremanstown, Cumberland county. She came to Dauphin county about the year 1825 and resided here since that time. Her husband died in 1855 leaving her a widow 27 years. She resided at the corner of North and Fourth streets since 1851. Mrs. Herr was a good Christian woman, an exemplary member of the United Brethren in Christ. for a period of sixty years, and charitable and kind to the poor. Two sons, Henry and David, well known citizens of this city, survive her.
