The death of Mrs. Lucretia Shaeffer, wife of Charles Shaeffer, occurred at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon at St. Joseph's Infirmary.
She had gone there for a slight operation, her death being ascribed to complications following. The end was quite unexpected as she was not considered in a dangerous condition until yesterday.
Beside her father, J. Edwin Stallings, who made his home with her, and several brothers and sisters, she is survived by her husband and three sons, Joe, George and Allan.
The funeral will be held at the First Christian Church this afternoon at 4 o'clock, Rev. J. Leslie Finnell, assisted by Elder F.L. Young, minister of the Lamar Avenue Church of Christ, will conduct the services.
