Eugene Ross Thompson,
Was the oldest son of Thomas Benjamin Thompson Sr.and Lucy Alberta Freund Thompson.He was the first Indian boy from the Chickasaw Nation to attend Oklahoma A&M College.He became a well known expert on Jersey & Guernsey cattle and Oklahoma Horticulture. Very few people ever knew him by his given name.He was known by his nickname "Snake". He was bitten by a Rattlesnake and the snake died so, all his friends called him "Snake".
