Mr. Daniel Albert Davis, Jr., age 38, of Sandersville died Monday August 10 in Statesboro from injuries sustained in a trucking accident.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 14th in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville with burial in the Tabernacle Methodist Church Cemetery near Sandersville. Reverend William Moody will officiate.
Mr. Davis was a lifelong resident of Washington County. He was a timber harvester with Logging Inc. He was a member of the Tabernacle Methodist Church.
Survivors are: his wife, Raven Roberts Davis of Sandersville; children, Daniel Davis, Colton Lindsey, Autumn Davis and Harley Price all of Sandersville; his father, Daniel Albert Davis, Sr. of Sandersville; his mother, Deborah Godfrey Davis of Sandersville; his grandmother, Mary Davis of Sandersville; his brother, Benjamin Joseph Davis of Sandersville; his sisters, Donna Hodges and her husband Benji , Dianne Davis Pope and Elizabeth Hadden Beal and her husband Jamie all of Sandersville, step sisters, Darlene Davis and Alicia Davis of Sandersville, half-brother, Lewis Kenmire of Dallas, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday evening.
The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Benji Hodges, 805 West Church Street in Sandersville.
