James E. Gallier, 79, of Napoleon, Ohio died Monday, January 20, 2014 at The Lutheran Home of Napoleon. He was born November 23, 1934 in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late James G. and Bernice (Roe) Gallier.
He was an accountant at Ernst & Ernst in Toledo, a controller for Napco & Arrow Molded Plastics in Napoleon and he retired as owner/operator semi-driver for Transport America. He was a former member of First Presbyterian Church and attended Malinta Memorial United Methodist Church. He loved working on antique tractors, attending tractor shows and also liked to camp, ride bike trails and canoe.
He is survived by his daughter; Shannon (Ron) Bauman, Napoleon and son; Shane (Karen) Gallier of Cridersville, Ohio, grandchildren; Eric(Kristin) Bauman and Ashley (Jeremy) Fry, and great grandchildren; Cole and Kaylee Bauman, and Elijah Fry. He was preceded in death by half sister; Nellie Gallier Dimick.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00am at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon with Pastor Jeremiah Diegel officiating. Interment will follow at Hoy Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon.
Family ask that memorials be made to the Henry County Humane Society.
