Joseph Francis Clark, Jr., 64, died July 16, 2013. He was born on January 20, 1949 to Joseph Francis, Sr. and Betty Sue Clark. Joe graduated from Cascia Hall Preparatory School, Villanova University, and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa. He was a partner in the law firm of Clark and Warzynski. He specialized in ERISA law and insurance cases. Joe was a very compassionate person and enjoyed a very distinguished law career. He was a member of the Tulsa County and Oklahoma Bar Associations, the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Oklahoma, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Joe was a very religious person and a member of Christ the King Parish and Knights of Columbus, Council 1104. He was past Grand Knight and a 4th Degree Knight. As a Knight he was active in Degree Work and an avid bowler in the Knights league. He spent 24 years with Cathy, his beloved wife, entertaining family and friends and traveling. She survives him. He is also survived by sons Reverend Joseph Clark III, and wife Cindy and children, Conner and Caitlyn, of McAlester, and Joshua Baker of Tulsa. Also surviving are grandsons Christian, Caden and Dane Clark and daughters in law, Leslie Gosslin and Kara Nance, brother, William P. Clark and wife, Thea, and son Will, mother in law Helen Clouse, Broken Bow, Aunt Beverly Versen, Tulsa, Uncle Randolph Davis and wife, Charlyne of Scottsdale, Arizona, brothers and sisters in law, Joe and Nona Cross and Jesse and Idanell Clouse. He was preceded in death by parents and son Thomas Stephen Clark. Joe believed in living One Day at a Time and donated his services at 12 and 12 for many years. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 19th at Christ the King Church, 1520 South Rockford. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 20th at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 91st and Harvard. In lieu of flowers, you may honor Joe's memory by donating to Christ the King Parish, John 3:16, or charity of your choice.
