Beverly was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and was known to many as a farm girl. She enjoyed rug making, sewing, and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Blackshear and her son James G. Blackshear.
Beverly is survived by her youngest son and his wife, two grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 8, 2013 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church at 11:00am with Father Dennis O'Neill officiating. Interment will follow at Kingsley Lake Cemetery. The family will receive friends, one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Blackshear, along with her family moved to Starke in 1917 and to Kingsley Lake in 1925. She attended school in Starke and was a Bradford High graduate, the class of 1932.
