The first burial was that of Nancy Raidon, wife of William Raidon. She died June 1838. Joseph J. Williams was the last burial in 1924. At least three Civil War veterans, Lemuel Evans, Henry Evans and Lemuel Gaugh, are buried here. Also at Evans cemetery is Jesse H. Healey, the first sheriff of Henry County.
