"The Requiem Mass for Mrs. Addie C. Van Blarcom, 80, of 821-A Cedar St., West Bend, who died at 11 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital there following an illness of a week, will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Angels Catholic Church, West Bend.
Celebrant will be the Rt. Rev. Msgr. E. C. Stehling, pastor. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Fond du Lac.
Friends may call at the Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend this evening and until 9 a.m. Saturday.
The former Addie O'Brien, she was born in the Town of Lamartine, Fond du Lac County, Jan. 14, 1878.
She grew up in Fond du Lac, graduated from high school there and later taught school in the Town of Auburn.
On July 5, 1900, she was married to John P. Van Blarcom, following which the couple lived in Boltonville and Beechwood until moving to West Bend in 1920.
Mrs. Van Blarcom had been employed in the West Bend telephone office until retiring 15 years ago.
Her husband died in September, 1930.
Surviving are a son, John, Kewaskum; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Hurley, Escondido, Calif., and a brother, Joseph O'Brien, Milwaukee.
She was a member of St. Anne's Altar Society of Holy Angels Parish."
