Bill was a former Los Angeles contact representative for the Railroad Retirement Board. He had served during WWII as a technical sergeant for the 133rd Mobile Evacuation Hospital. During the war, his military unit helped to liberate a Nazi labor camp in Germany.
He was the husband of Julia Goschey Clark. They were the parents of four children: Los Angeles Auxiliary Bishop Edward Clark, Maureen (Clark) Salmon, Kevin Clark & Diana (Clark) Chesmore.
Bill was also survived by six grandchildren: Jennifer (Salmon) Mumper, Patrick Salmon, Robby Clark, Joseph Chesmore, Michael Chesmore & Jessica Chesmore and four great-grandchildren: Autumn Mumper, Donald "Donny" Mumper, Brooklynn Salmon & Emma Salmon.
