She was born February 21, 1938, in Hulky, Mississippi, she was a daughter of the late James Clemon White and Mary Etta Ward White.
Her parents, and husband, Mr. Roland Barnett, in whom she married October 28,1955, two brothers, one sister, and one grand daughter preceded her in death.
Mrs. Barnett was a devout member at Rankin Chapel Baptist Church and a homemaker raising up a large family that she was devoted to and loved very much.
She is survived by six sons; Darrell Barnett of Gould, Charles Barnett and Jimmy Barnett, both of Dumas, Michael Barnett of Altus, Oklahoma, Dewayne Barnett of El Dorado, and Robert Barnett of Star City, Arkansas; two daughters, Marilyn Donigan and Renee Baxter, both of Dumas; one sister, Imogene Creighton of Dumas; one brother, J. P. White of Gould; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Her going home service was held on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the First Assembly of God Church in Dumas, Arkansas at 10 a.m. with the Reverend Lewis Branson and Reverend Monty Meeks officiating the packed house service attended by many friends and family, and others that paid their respects.
Interment and committal was at Green Mount Cemetery in Lincoln County with arrangements by Griffin Funeral Home of Dumas, Arkansas. +
