Lydia Ann Tennant, 80, of Route 3, Washington, W.Va., died Dec.17, 1993 at St Joseph Hospital. She was born in New England, a daughter of the late William Ellis and Anna Penebaker. She was a member of the Bethany Christian Church of New England and a former member of the FarmBureau.

Surviving are one daughter, Mary Catheryn McIntire of Walker; four sons, Charles Gilbert Tennant of Lubeck, Erwin Jackson Tennant and Wilber Earl Tennant both of New England, and James David Tennant of Parkersburg; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Perry Wildman and Melvin Soloman Wildman.

Services 1 p.m. Tuesday, Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, the Rev. Paul J. Morrison officiating. Burial Sunset Memory Gardens.
