Rachel was the daughter of Perry and Mary Belle Jones. She married Vernon Howell (David Koresh) on January 18, 1984, with the permission of her parents, as she was only 14 years old at the time.
Rachel and David had three children, one son and two daughters, Cyrus Howell Koresh, Star Howell Koresh, and Bobbie Lane Koresh.
