Ruby Pfeiffer
Ruby Pfeiffer, 81, Stratford, died Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Boone County Hospital. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the McGuire Bend Church with the Revs. Lynn Newbraugh and Dale Kelley officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation is from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service at the church. Arrangements are being made by the Stark-Welin Funeral Home in Stratford.
Ruby Dennis, daughter of William and Minerva (Sisco) Dennis, was born April 29, 1910 in De Kalb, Mo.
In 1927, she married Everett Moore in Troy, Kan. Following his death, she married Vernon Pfeiffer on June 4, 1951 in Fort Dodge.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Nina and Francis Brown, Hollister, Mo.; sons and daughters-in-law, Bernard and Dorothy Moore, Eldorado Springs, Mo., Buford and Shirley Moore, Stratford; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, two brothers, one daughter and four granddaughters.
