John W. Bean, 75, died at 6:15 o'clock last night at his home at 730 East Garfield after a lingering illness. He is survived by his wife, Martha; three sons, William, and Thomas of Springfield and Warner of Bolivar; one daughter, Mrs. Minnie Tannehill of Fair Grove, 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of F. C. Thieme.
