Rosemarie H. Hummel, 65, died Oct 9, 2011 at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. She was born June 16, 1946 in Germany, the daughter of August and Louise Noss Jaeger.
She was a Hutchinson resident since 1990 moving from Geneseo, KS where she had lived since 1963 moving from Germany. She was a 22 year employee of Hutchinson Bag Company.
Survivors include a son, Rick Hummel and wife Carol, Topeka, daughter Trish Mann and husband Kevin, Hutchinson and grandson Ruger Hummel. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial service will be 10:00 AM, Friday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory. Graveside service will take place at 1:00 PM, Friday at the Lyons Municipal Cemetery, Lyons,KS. There will be a book to sign from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday and Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
