HANNIBAL Iva M. Brothers, 91, of Hannibal, died at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 26, 1999, at Luther Manor Nursing Home in Hannibal.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at James O'Donnell Funeral Home. The Rev. Walter Reed will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park.
Mrs. Brothers was born Sept. 17, 1908, in Hannibal to Anderson L. and Annie D. Williams Shulse.
She was married to Bentley E. Brothers on Oct. 21, 1925, in Hannibal. He preceded her in death in August 1956.
Survivors include three sons, Jack Brothers and Wayne Brothers, both of Hannibal, and Bill Brothers of Quincy, Ill.; four daughters, Patsy Rayl of Monroe City, Shirley Sanders of Hannibal, Doris Heda of St. Louis and Karen Dunn of Oklahoma City; 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Richard E. Brothers; one grandson; one granddaughter; three sisters; and three brothers.
Mrs. Brothers retired as a cook at Becky Thatcher Restaurant.
She was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Luther Manor Hair Care.
Pallbearers will be Bill Brothers, Terry Roberson, Scot Rayl, Jason Brothers, Danny Brothers and Alan Brothers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Brothers, Brett Heda, Adam Brothers, Steve Brothers and R.L. Caldwell.
