She was born Feb. 18, 1886, in German, the daughter of Fred D. and Ella Morse Beckwith. Survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth B. and Doris Brown Barrows, McDonough; two grandsons, three great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the widow of Orra Mellin Barrows.
Rose married Orra Mellin Barrows on April 10, 1906 in McDonough, Chenango, New York at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Samuel Chester and Grace Adelia Beckwith. They were married by Rev. Alvin W. Barrows.
